J-Rocks or JRS, Japanese Rock style-band is powered by 4 skillful personel, Iman (Vocalist & Guitars) Sony (Lead Guitars), Wima (Bass) and Anton (Drums). In early 2004, they tried to follow to compete with other indie bands in Bandung, Nescafe Get Started. In this event, J-Rocks become the champion, and each of the personil awarded as the best vocalist, best guitarist, best bassist and best drummer. Top achievements of this made them contracted by Major Label Aquarius MusikIndo for the recording, and in July 2005 released their first album Topeng Sahabat, even though less may be booming in the market, and have not succeeded in getting the platinum, but this album is actually worth a Two Thumbs Up, because they bring a Japanese-Rock a fresh style of music which for most of Indonesians is still considered new. But maybe this is their key to get the success in latter days
Occurrence of the band rise to many comments from the people of Indonesia, among fanatical fans L'Arc ~ en ~ Ciel in Indonesia accuse that JRocks mimic L Arc ~ en ~ Ciel (Laruku). Indeed, J-rocks is inspired from the band L'Arc ~ en ~ Ciel and Muse. Disappeared after 2 years, J-Rocks eventually released the second album, the title of Spirit. In this second album, J-Rocks entries many colors of music, of which, song entitled Juwita Hati stream of Rock n Roll, Tersesal in Waltz / Victorian style, and many other such as Blues, Classical.
This band is well known since the emergence of this second album. In the song titled Kau Curi Lagi introduce their female guitarist, Prisa Adinda Arini Rianzi. And in the songs Juwita Hati they create the video clips in the Japan derected by Hedy Suryawan. Shalvynne Chang, Sato, Boppy on the video clips this role as a J-Rocks fans who pursue their idols from Indonesia to Japan. The concept of creating a video clip is popular in Indonesia.
JRocks made the brilliant achievement by won the annual event A Mild Live music Soundrenaline 2008: Free Your Voice. The council of our appreciation, choosing J-Rocks as The Best Band Who Can Their Voice in Free Soundrenaline 2008. J-Rocks can hold 4 other nominations, namely Nidji, Padi, Gigi, and Saint Loco. J-Rocks have recorded in Abbey Road Studios, London, UK. Can be recorded at Abbey Road is a pride for the J-Rocks, a studio built in 1931 is also a place The Beatles recordings. Abbey Road Studios also gave birth to some famous bands such as Radiohead, Oasis, greenday, U2. At Abbey Road Studios for 5 days J-Rocks record 5 songs for the mini album to Abbey Road.
